Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a business-facing IT support owner for investment systems across the full trade lifecycle to ensure seamless data flow and consistency across trading, settlement, cash, and accounting systems, from trade capture through NAV reporting
  • Serve as a primary technology support contact for Portfolio Managers and investment teams, understanding portfolio construction, trading workflows, risk, and analytical requirements.
  • Provide functional support for Portfolio Management Systems, Order / Execution Management Systems and analytical tools, including Charles River, Bloomberg and FactSet. Partner closely with Fund Operations to resolve system and data issues impacting trading, settlement or NAV.
  • Drive and support automation initiatives across front‑to‑back processes to reduce manual and operational risk. Apply AI-enabled tools and techniques to support daily system monitoring and smart alerts, exception detection and prioritization, data validation, reconciliation, and anomaly detection
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, system architecture diagrams, data flow mappings, and operating procedures with clear audit trails.
  • Participate in system implementations, enhancements, vendor upgrades, and version releases across front‑to‑back platforms. Coordinate UAT, regression testing, cutover planning, and post‑implementation review with business users.
  • Support new product launches (authorized funds, private funds, mandates, multi‑jurisdiction structures) by ensuring system readiness and operational scalability.
  • Manage relationships with external system vendors, data providers, fund administrators, custodians, and A&V agents on system-related matters.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex business and operational requirements into clear system and functional specifications. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-system investment environment.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in buy‑side investment systems, front‑to‑back operations support, or business-facing IT roles within asset management, investment firms, or large institution.
  • Demonstrated experience covering end‑to‑end investment workflows and hands-on exposure to Portfolio Management / Trading Platforms (Charles River, Bloomberg, FactSet or similar).
  • Strong understanding of settlement processes, cash management, and accounting / valuation (A&V, NAV) impacts is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Management or related disciplines.
  • Strong interest and practical experience in digital operating models, automation, and system integration.
  • Working knowledge or hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or similar scripting tools
  • Practical understanding or applied usage of AI tools to support operational monitoring, exception handling, and data analysis.
