Our client is a global leading financial institution, they are now looking for a Trade Support talent (EQD / FICC) to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Trade Support: Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle, encompassing trade entry, reconciliation, corporate action processing, and high-level client service.
- Front-Office Partnership: Act as a key liaison for Trading Desks, proactively investigating booking discrepancies and resolving trade breaks or technical exceptions.
- Issue Resolution: Perform root-cause analysis on trade-flow irregularities and provide swift, accurate responses to inquiries from both internal traders and external clients.
- Reporting & Governance: Produce comprehensive reports on trading volume and operational hurdles, ensuring critical risks are escalated to senior management via the proper channels.
- Strategic Initiatives: Engage in global, cross-functional projects to refine workflows and support the integration of new business ventures.
- Settlement Efficiency: Mitigate financial risk by managing settlement workflows, verifying reconciliations, and aggressively pursuing the resolution of failed or unmatched trades.
- Innovation & Collaboration: Work alongside peers to design and implement reporting frameworks for emerging financial products and market initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience within a middle or back-office function at a reputable financial institution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Power-user status in Microsoft Office, with sophisticated Excel skills (e.g., macros, complex formulas, data modeling).
- Solid knowledge in Equity Derivatives (EQD) or FICC.
- Exceptional organizational habits with a proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English is essential for effective communication with clients and teams.
