We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure while actively shaping the future of our BI system. Responsibilities
- Maintain, design, build, optimize our existing data platform to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and construct new data infrastructure.
- Develop and implement new business insights to support decision-making.
- Recommend and integrate cloud-native tools and frameworks to improve data processing and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, PHP, R, or other programming languages.
- Familiar with ETL tools (e.g. Spark, Flink), data warehouse products (e.g., StarRocks, Snowflake) and Airflow.
- Adequate understanding of business intelligence tools like Tableau.
- Fast learner with a proactive and analytical mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong communication skills in English (Mandarin or German is a plus).
- Must be located in Singapore. Eligible to work in Singapore without sponsorship (SC / PR).
Good to Have
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., Alibaba Cloud, AWS).
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipeline.
- Passionate about the gaming industry and AI.
