KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, HR Risk Management to join our Talent & Culture organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritize emerging human resources risks impacting the Talent & Culture organization
  • Manage the documentation of T&C risks and controls; lead initiatives to automate risk, control, and issue management processes
  • Enhance first line operational risk management structure for Talent & Culture; establish Risk Coordinator structure, educate risk coordinators on essential risk management principles, and act as central point of contact for risk coordinators
  • Lead the implementation and oversight of a formal Issue Management process to ensure operational issues are identified, tracked, and remediated effectively
  • Advise on HR operational risk, including Third Party Risk Management; assess risk related to process changes and provide guidance to T&C stakeholders; coordinate with appropriate 2LoR risk SMEs to ensure all necessary risk assessments are completed timely and efficiently
  • Provide routine updates to leadership, including insights derived from risk/compliance trends for awareness and decision making
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent related work experience in Risk/Compliance management with experience in HR risk management, HR operational processes, and/or HR-related compliance management
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Experience in HR risk management; ability to analyze and understand current and emerging operational risks and make recommendations to process leaders regarding appropriate prioritization and required mitigation activities
  • Ability to manage projects and processes, applying domain knowledge to make concrete decisions that impact the HR organization and related risks; excellent organizational, analytics and critical thinking skills; hands-on, independent, and accountable delivery mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of an organization, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel, as needed
