Job Summary
We are seeking an early-career Scientist I to join the Synthetic Molecule Analytical Chemistry team. This role focuses on analytical characterization of drug substances including small molecules, peptides, and oligonucleotides. The candidate will support method development, execute analytical testing, and contribute to data interpretation within a fast-paced drug discovery and development environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical characterization of synthetic drug substances and delivery systems
- Develop and execute chiral and achiral HPLC methods
- Utilize advanced analytical tools such as UHPLC-MS, KF, UV, and CAD
- Conduct method development, validation, and troubleshooting
- Document experimental data in laboratory notebooks and generate reports
- Interpret analytical data and provide insights to cross-functional teams
- Support innovation and evaluation of new analytical technologies
- Collaborate with discovery, pharmaceutics, and process chemistry teams
🔹 Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 0 to 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or analytical chemistry environment
- Strong hands-on experience with HPLC and chromatography techniques
- Solid understanding of analytical chemistry principles
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
🔹 Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with peptides, oligonucleotides, or small molecule analysis
- Familiarity with solid-state characterization and drug discovery workflows
- Exposure to advanced analytical tools such as UHPLC-MS or multidimensional HPLC
