An established investment platform is looking to hire a Risk Associate to support its global risk and trading operations function.
This role sits at the intersection of risk monitoring, data analysis, and post-trade processes , offering strong exposure to market activities and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess risk exposures across trading activities
- Analyse data to support risk reporting, automation, and process improvements
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across trading, technology, and operations
- Support post-trade workflows , including reconciliation and issue resolution
- Contribute to ongoing enhancements in processes, controls, and documentation
Requirements
- ~7+ years of experience in risk, trading support, or financial operations
- Exposure to financial markets and at least one asset class
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Python and/or SQL i
- Comfortable working with data and building simple tools or reports
- Clear communicator with the ability to work across teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
- Degree in a quantitative, business, or related discipline
Additional Advantage
- Experience in reconciliation, clearing, or trade lifecycle processes
- Exposure to risk analytics or portfolio monitoring
- Familiarity with technical environments (e.g. scripting, Linux)
