Automatic Doors, Gates & Barrier Engineer

We’re on the hunt for a proactive Automation Engineer to join our fast-growing team! You’ll work across social housing and commercial contracts, tackling everything from reactive callouts to planned maintenance and installations on automatic doors, gates, and barriers.

What You’ll Be Doing

•

Responding to urgent call-outs and fixing faults fast

•

Carrying out installs, servicing & maintenance

•

Surveying and inspecting automated systems

•

Logging jobs with clear, detailed info

•

Following strict health & safety standards

•

Keeping timesheets up to date

•

Being flexible – overtime and on-call rota available

What You’ll Need

•

Strong knowledge of automated door operators, gate automation, roller shutters and gates (experience with brands like FAAC, CAME, BFT, Hormann, etc., is an advantage)

•

Relevant qualifications in automation systems (e.g., DHF, ADSA, or equivalent).

•

Familiarity with industry regulations, including BS EN 16005 and DHF guidelines.

•

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

•

Full UK Driving License
