ROLE: Automation and Control Engineer (PLC & SCADA, HMI)

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Incident Owner for all escalated infrastructure issues
- Connect and integrate industrial devices, machines, and equipment with MES to enable real-time data collection and analysis
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, IT) to ensure MES solutions align with organizational goals and objectives
- Design and oversee IT-OT integration strategies using industrial connectors such as Kepware and Ignition
- Drive automation initiatives — enabling manual machines and processes using PLCs and controllers to transmit data to IIoT applications
Technical Skills Required:
- Extensive experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and OPC UA systems
- Industrial protocols: IEC60870-5-101/104, DNP3, MODBUS, OPC standards
- Deep expertise in IIoT platforms for monitoring, productivity, anomaly detection, and utilization tracking
- Strong network architecture knowledge — DNS, DHCP, Firewall, Gateways, Routers, MQTT, CoAP, AMQP
- Expertise in PLC, SCADA, HMI programming and architecture-level design
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
