  • Commission new machines and improve existing equipment on the production line
  • Write structured, maintainable PLC code and build simple, operator-friendly HMIs
  • Work hands-on with control panels, sensors, drives, and field devices
  • Troubleshoot machine faults, whether they come from logic, wiring, or hardware
  • Implement and verify machine and robot safety systems
  • Partner closely with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to keep equipment running reliably

Hard Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or similar
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial or factory automation
  • Strong PLC programming experience, structured text preferred
  • Experience commissioning and supporting automated manufacturing equipment
  • Understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and industrial safety
  • Ability to troubleshoot both software and electrical issues in a live production environment
  • Experience working onsite in manufacturing, not just design or simulation

Bonus / Nice to Have Skills

  • Beckhoff TwinCAT PLC experience
  • Experience with EtherCAT, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, or similar industrial networks
  • Electrical design experience including motors, drives, and circuit protection
  • Safety PLCs, safety relays, and robot or machine safety systems
  • HMI or SCADA experience such as Ignition, OPC UA, or MQTT
  • Robotics programming experience, ABB preferred
  • Experience with high-volume, precision manufacturing environments
