Automation Control Engineer

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop machine control and human machine interface software for equipment. Participate in engineering, testing, startups, and service visits.

Developing the machine code in Siemens PLC system as well as Human Machine Interface (HMI), software so that equipment functions as specified.

Testing software modifications to the extent possible prior to delivery (shop test).

Checkout of electrical, Siemens PLC and HMI portions.

Commissioning of equipment such that specifications are met.

Deliver technical training to customers' operators and/or maintenance personnel as needed

Required:

Strong Siemens PLC and HMI programming skills.

Understanding of Electrical and process diagrams/schematics.

Understating fluid systems and pneumatic systems including valving and transmitters.

Detailed knowledge and experience of industrial automation products and process control, preferably within the chemical industry.
