Pay rate: $72/hr on W2 (All inclusive)

Type of Hire: Contract

Duration : 6+ Months

Position Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Control Engineer with strong expertise in Siemens PLC and HMI programming. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting machine control systems for industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop machine control software using Siemens PLC and HMI systems
• Perform software testing and validation prior to deployment
• Support equipment startup and commissioning at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during and after installation
• Provide technical training to operators and maintenance teams
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Support ongoing product lifecycle and customer needs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Siemens PLC and HMI programming
• Strong understanding of:
• Electrical schematics and diagrams
• Fluid and pneumatic systems
• Valves, transmitters, and process control systems
• Experience in industrial automation and control systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in chemical or life sciences industry
• Exposure to equipment commissioning and field support

Work Environment

• Hybrid role (onsite + remote depending on project phase)
• Work may involve:
• Standing, walking, and working in plant environments
• Equipment testing and site visits
