Automation Engineer – Cutover Platform

Akkodis is seeking a Automation Engineer – Cutover Platform for Contract (W2) with a client in Charlotte, NC/ Chandler, AZ/ Jackonsville, FL - Hybrid - (3 days onsite in a week). Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in Cutover platform automation, Autosys/Ansible/Bladelogic, Python, PowerShell, Machine Learning/AI, automation & orchestration, reporting & monitoring, logging & troubleshooting, SDLC, Linux/Windows OS, MS Office, CI/testing & production deployment.

Pay Range: $65 -$68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Summary:

This role is for the development of automation using the Cutover platform. This role which involves additional automation systems (i.e. Autosys, Bladelogic, Ansible) and development (Python, Machine Learning/AI, PowerShell)

The ideal candidate would have an expertise in at least 3 of the mentioned technologies (at least 1 in automation and at least 1 in reporting).

The candidate would be responsible for developing a solution in a team of 4 to 5 members.

The assignments include coordination within all components of the tool, testing, and taking it into production.

There would be daily meetings to measure the progress of the development.

• 2+ years experience in automation using the Cutover platform.

• 6-8 years hands on experience and good understanding of Python, Machine Learning / AI, PowerShell)

• Excellent understanding of SDLC

• Excellent understanding of Linux/Windows OS and MS Office toolset

• Logging and Monitoring experience along with troubleshooting.

• Good communication skills

• Take ownership - Demonstrates sense of commitment to work. Is dependable and conscientiously follows through on commitments.

• Automation skills to reduce manual activities

• Proven team player who can work comfortably in a multicultural environment
