Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to lead API and UI test automation efforts. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, design automation frameworks, and drive continuous delivery of high-quality software in an Agile environment. Strong expertise in Java, Selenium, RestAssured, and CI/CD tools is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements; collaborate with Product Managers, Agile Coach, and Agile teams
- Design and develop both manual and automated test cases independently
- Build robust automation scripts for UI using Selenium and API using RestAssured
- Guide and mentor offshore QA engineers to ensure automation objectives are met
- Validate and certify system/application functionality before release
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with application systems, coordinating with development and infrastructure teams
- Ensure timely delivery of release milestones and product backlog items
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams using Agile and DevOps principles
- Contribute to continuous integration pipelines and improve automation coverage

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
