About the Role
We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer/ Tester (1-Year Contract, Extend/Perm) for an Investment Bank. This role supports critical trading systems, covering both BAU support and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own test planning, test strategy, and execution
- Deliver functional testing and test automation across business‑critical systems
- Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks
- Work closely with business users, operations, and IT teams to understand requirements
- Support multiple testing activities in parallel
- Ensure testing aligns with SDLC, control, and audit standards, with clear documentation
Requirements
- Around 4-6 years QA experience in a Banking, Investment Banking, Securities Services (Regulated or complex technology environment)
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end system workflows and integrated platforms
- Hands‑on experience with test automation, performance testing, and supporting BAU and project testing
- Exposure to trading or settlement platforms or enterprise systems
- Tools and skills: Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Java, SQL
- Immediately available or on short notice is preferred
