Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and integrate automotive electronic control units (ECUs) and related systems. Define system requirements, architecture, and interfaces for new automotive features and functionalities. Develop and execute test plans for system validation and verification, ensuring compliance with automotive standards. Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure effective integration of components. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues during development and testing phases. Analyze system performance data and identify areas for optimization. Contribute to the development of robust and reliable automotive software and firmware. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automotive technology, including autonomous driving, electric vehicles, and connected car systems. Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to the engineering team. Ensure all development activities adhere to automotive industry quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in automotive systems engineering or a related role. Proven experience with automotive embedded systems, ECUs, and vehicle communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet). Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. Experience with system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink). Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity principles is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Familiarity with automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
