Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and integrate key components of the autonomous driving stack, including sensor fusion, perception algorithms, path planning, and vehicle control. Analyze and interpret large volumes of sensor data (LiDAR, radar, cameras) to identify areas for improvement and debug system issues. Collaborate with software development teams to ensure the seamless integration of AI models and algorithms into the production codebase. Define system requirements, architectures, and interfaces for autonomous driving features. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of algorithms and system performance, both in simulation and on test vehicles. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to vehicle dynamics, sensor performance, and software integration. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices for autonomous systems. Stay current with the latest research and advancements in autonomous driving technology and related fields.
Qualifications:
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in autonomous vehicle development or a closely related field such as robotics, AI, or computer vision. Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with experience in developing complex software systems. Proficiency with relevant libraries and frameworks such as ROS, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV. Deep understanding of state-of-the-art algorithms in areas like object detection, tracking, sensor fusion, SLAM, and motion planning. Experience with simulation tools (e.g., CARLA, NVIDIA DRIVE Sim) and data analysis pipelines. Familiarity with safety standards and methodologies for safety-critical systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
