AVP M&A Risk Analyst

A company is looking for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) M&A & Reinsurance Risk Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

Review transaction documents and pricing assumptions related to prospective reinsurance transactions

Identify, assess, and communicate deal risks, including actuarial, investment, and operational risks

Advise senior management on deal economics and ensure compliance with transaction governance standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or advanced degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a comparable field

A minimum of 7 years of relevant insurance experience, preferably in insurance product pricing

Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or comparable accreditation preferred

Quantitative risk management experience with an applied insurance background is considered valuable

Technical proficiency in actuarial calculations and modeling, with experience in software such as AXIS or MG ALFA
