Operational Risk Team
The Role
AVP/VP, Operational Risk, Risk Management
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate with all departments to perform operational risk identification, assessment, monitoring, control or mitigation and reporting;
- Identify and report operational risk events and business disruption events, ensuring that risk events are handled and reported timely and properly;
- Establish and improve the business continuity management framework, formulate business continuity plans, and emergency response plans;
- Coordinate all departments to conduct business impact analysis and risk assessment, evaluate recovery objectives and recovery strategies for critical businesses;
- Formulate and Implement company-level business continuity drill plans, coordinate all departments to participate in emergency drills;
- Organize operational risk and business continuity management training, enhance the Company's operational management mindset and emergency response capabilities in risk events;
- Maintain close communication with all departments and regularly report operational risk and business continuity management status to management;
- Support the team in completing other operational risk management tasks, and complete ad-hoc operational risk projects or investigations assigned by management.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related disciplines;
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in audit, internal control, operational risk management, business continuity management or related field in financial institution;
- Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
- Strong logical thinking skill, detail-minded, adept at analyzing potential risks and control weaknesses in business processes, and skilled at handling operational risk events or business interruption incidents;
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. and able to work independently;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese);
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
