Do you enjoy coordinating complex processes, connecting stakeholders and ensuring a smooth manufacturing and release process? As we continue to expand our operations in Ghent, we are looking for a Batch Release Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will play a key role in delivering CAR-T cell therapies – making a direct impact on patients’ lives.

What can you expect?  

As a Batch Release Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating the timely manufacturing and release of patient-specific batches within our end-to-end supply chain. You ensure smooth collaboration across teams in a sterile GMP environment. 

You are responsible for;  

Batch Coordination & Stakeholder Management  

Coordinating the on-time release of finished product batches in close collaboration with Manufacturing, QA, QC, and Investigations teams 

Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication 

Providing transparent updates on batch status, progress, and challenges 

Building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders 

Monitoring & Issue Resolution 

Proactively identifying risks and bottlenecks impacting batch release timelines 

Driving discussions to resolve issues and ensure continuity 

Escalating critical risks and supporting decision-making at the appropriate level 

Planning 

Supporting detailed production scheduling and contributing to the master production plan 

Collaborating with planning teams to align supply with clinical and commercial demand 

Continuous Improvement  

Driving process improvements and contributing to reporting and scalable planning methodologies 

Who are we looking for?

Education  

You obtained a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Science or a related field or have equivalent experiene 

Experience  

You have at least three years of relevant experience in supply chain, operations or quality 

Experience in a GMP environment within pharma or biotech is a strong plus 

Languages  

You are fluent in English 

Strengths  

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

You have strong communication skills that foster collaboration and set clear expectations 

You are able to coordinate complex processes and manage multiple priorities 

You are able to stay calm, focussed and motivated under tight deadlines.
