Lead BI & Analytics Developer | Power BI & Dynamics
The Mission: We are navigating a high-stakes CRM transformation (Salesforce to Microsoft Dynamics). We need a Technical Player-Coach to lead a lean, high-impact team of ~7 developers. Your goal: move the team from ad-hoc reporting to a mature, enterprise-grade BI engine while navigating a rapid 6-month delivery window.
The Role: You are the technical "anchor." While you won’t have heavy administrative people-management duties, you will own the delivery quality, architectural standards, and technical growth of your reports.
The Impact You’ll Make
- Technical Stewardship: Lead a team of <7 developers by example—conducting code reviews, defining DAX standards, and troubleshooting complex performance bottlenecks.
- Architectural Guardrail: Design resilient Star Schemas and semantic layers that protect our reporting from the "noise" of an active CRM migration.
- Delivery Ownership: Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and your dev team, translating ambiguous requirements into high-performance Power BI solutions.
- Governance Lead: Eliminate "metric drift" by establishing certified datasets and a single source of truth for enterprise KPIs.
What You Bring
- 8+ Years in BI: Extensive experience in the Power Platform ecosystem (Power BI/Power Apps).
- Lean Team Leadership: Proven ability to mentor a small group of developers, setting the "how" and "why" behind development best practices.
- Data Modeling Mastery: Deep expertise in dimensional modeling (Fact/Dimension tables), SQL, and semantic layer management.
- Migration Savvy: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or large-scale CRM migrations is a significant advantage.
- Execution Focus: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can drive a team toward a firm 6-month UAT milestone.
