Job SummaryTetra Edge is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Electrical Engineer to lead the development and coordination of electrical systems within Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for high-rise tower projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with main contractors and a proven ability to advance electrical design models from LOD 300 to LOD 350, 400, and 500. This role requires expertise in electrical design, BIM tools, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, MEP engineers, and façade engineers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of electrical systems. Previous exposure to 4D, 5D, and 7D BIM applications is highly preferable, with a strong focus on high-rise tower construction.Key ResponsibilitiesBIM Model Development & CoordinationDevelop and manage electrical BIM models for high-rise towers, ensuring the progression of design models issued by the design consultant from LOD 300 to LOD 350, 400, and 500.Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and façade engineers to ensure electrical systems are fully integrated into the overall design of high-rise projects.Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts related to electrical systems to ensure seamless coordination with other disciplines.Ensure compliance with BIM standards, protocols, and project-specific requirements for high-rise tower construction.Electrical Design & OptimizationReview and refine electrical designs for high-rise towers to ensure technical feasibility, energy efficiency, and compliance with project specifications.Optimize electrical layouts and systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low-current systems, to meet the unique requirements of high-rise buildings while minimizing costs and maximizing performance.Ensure electrical designs align with local regulations, codes, and standards, particularly within the UAE.4D, 5D, and 7D BIM ApplicationsSupport the implementation of 4D BIM for construction sequencing and scheduling of electrical installations in high-rise towers.Contribute to 5D BIM by integrating cost data into electrical models for accurate cost estimation and budget tracking.Assist in 7D BIM applications for facilities management, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive as-built electrical models for operational use post-construction.Documentation & DeliverablesPrepare and deliver high-quality electrical BIM deliverables, including shop drawings, schedules, and as-built models for high-rise tower projects.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all electrical BIM processes and outputs.Ensure timely submission of electrical BIM deliverables in compliance with project deadlines and quality standards.Collaboration & CommunicationAct as the primary electrical BIM point of contact, collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to address project requirements and challenges for high-rise towers.Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on electrical BIM processes and tools.Facilitate effective communication between electrical, architectural, structural, and MEP teams to ensure project success.Process Optimization & InnovationContinuously evaluate and enhance electrical BIM workflows, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy for high-rise tower projects.Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and industry trends, implementing innovative solutions to drive project success.Qualifications & Skills EducationBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Certification in BIM management or related software (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, Revit, Navisworks) is highly desirable.ExperienceMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical design and BIM management, with at least 3-5 years working with a main contractor.Proven experience in advancing electrical design models from LOD 300 to LOD 350, 400, and 500.Previous exposure to 4D (construction sequencing), 5D (cost estimation), and 7D (facilities management) BIM applications is highly preferable.Extensive experience in coordinating electrical systems for high-rise towers with architectural, structural, and MEP designs.Technical SkillsProficiency in BIM software, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, and other relevant tools.Strong understanding of electrical design principles, systems, and energy efficiency standards for high-rise buildings.Expertise in clash detection, coordination, and resolution processes.Advanced knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Preferred AttributesExperience in large-scale projects, particularly high-rise towers or complex structures.Familiarity with UAE constru
