Description:
Design, execute, and interpret analyses of quantitative and binary traits in large-scale population cohorts to support research and opportunity evaluation.
Perform integrative analyses of human genetics and EHR data to support target identification, biomarker discovery, and clinical development decisions.
Derive insights from claims data, clinical trial information, business metrics, and drug development pipeline data.
Collaborate with biology, clinical, and business development stakeholders to translate findings into actionable insights.
Communicate results through internal presentations, written reports, and contributions to external publications and conference presentations.
Build and maintain computational tools and infrastructure for streamlined, reproducible analyses.
Requirements:
PhD in Statistical Genetics, Human Genetics, Computational Biology, or a related discipline.
5+ years of industry experience.
Hands-on experience with UK Biobank and All of Us data, with brief descriptions of relevant projects included in the resume.
Proficiency in Python.
Extensive experience with QC, analysis, and interpretation of human genetics data, including single-variant and gene-based association analysis using WES/WGS/array genotyping data.
Familiarity with large-scale human genomics databases such as gnomAD, GTEx, 1000 Genomes, and TOPMed; hands-on experience is strongly preferred.
Experience working in Unix/Linux and cloud environments such as AWS.
Ability to query and manipulate relational databases such as SQL and Postgres.
Working knowledge of Git, including branching, pull/merge requests, and code review.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven record of success through peer-reviewed publications and/or conference presentations.
Curiosity and adaptability in adopting AI-powered tools and technologies.
