You’ll be responsible for a cluster of six luxury sites across Central London, all within a short walking distance of one another. These include locations such as Fenchurch Street, Cornhill, Kingsway, Dover Street, and St James’s Place. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working within high‑end buildings and engaging with premium clientele, where professionalism, presentation, and service excellence truly matter.

Salary: up to £50,000

Hours: 41.25 Hours a week

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a small cluster of London sites
  • Managing subcontractors and ensuring quality service delivery
  • Building strong relationships on site and representing Acorn professionally
  • Working closely with the Lead Engineer and Facilities Manager for smooth operations
  • Completing clear, accurate documentation and maintaining site logbooks
  • Attending call‑outs during working hours, with opportunities for weekend overtime

What You'll Bring

  • Strong experience in testing and inspecting electrical installations, with the ability to identify faults accurately and ensure full compliance with current regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E building services, with confidence working across high‑end environments.
  • Electrical qualifications (18th Edition) and a solid electrical bias.
  • Mechanical understanding, including HVAC systems, boilers, air conditioning, controls, and ventilation.
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and Legionella control.
  • A positive, reliable, and proactive approach, with pride in delivering a polished service to premium clientele.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a close‑knit team.
