Business Analyst - Capital Markets ($35-50k + bonus)

This is a 1st-tier leading financial institution in capital market. They are expanding the business to hire a Business Analyst to grow the business.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for capital markets change initiatives
• Support new product development, including product workflows, lifecycle impacts, and operational readiness
• Perform impact analysis across front‑to‑back systems, processes, and controls
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across trading, operations, risk, compliance, and IT
• Translate business needs into clear specifications for technology and delivery teams
• Support regulatory, control, and change management initiatives
• Assist with UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution
• Produce high‑quality documentation, including BRDs, user stories, process flows, and operating procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, computer science or in any relevant field
• 3-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst within capital markets, or any relevant position
• Strong knowledge of capital markets products (e.g. equities, derivatives, structured products, FX, rates)
• Experience supporting new product launches or significant business change initiatives
• Solid understanding of front‑to‑back trade lifecycle and post‑trade processes
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with technology and Agile delivery teams
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English
