Wolters Kluwer, a leading provider of expert compliance services and software solutions in the Financial & Corporate Compliance division, is seeking a talented Business Analyst focused on Reporting and Data Insights. Our services cater to financial institutions, corporations, small and midsize businesses, and law firms.
As the Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our reporting capabilities to support various leaders across Service, Fulfillment, Product, Segment, and Operational Excellence. This position combines data analysis, business intelligence development, process improvement, and measurement to foster operational excellence, capacity modeling, workflow optimization, and enhanced customer experiences. You will create insightful dashboards, generate reports, explore AI-driven insights, and facilitate the request management process to ensure timely and accurate reporting delivery.
In this role, you will report directly to the Manager of Business Analysis and work in a hybrid model (2 days in the office, 3 days remotely).
Responsibilities:
Reporting Development & Data Visualization:
- Build, enhance, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting.
- Leverage Power Automate and other automation tools to optimize manual reporting processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, translating these into actionable reporting solutions and dashboards.
- Explore opportunities to integrate AI and machine learning for improved forecasting and insights.
- Stay informed on new technologies and recommend relevant enhancements.
- Establish and uphold high reporting quality standards, ensuring accuracy and reliability of all analytical outputs.
Analytics, Insights & Operational Excellence Impact Measurement:
- Analyze operational, financial, customer, and workflow data to identify trends and possible risks.
- Support the measurement of Operational Excellence initiatives by tracking KPIs related to productivity, quality, turnaround time, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in developing forecasts, capacity models, and insightful trend analysis.
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and proactively provide early indicators of performance risks.
- Conduct root cause analyses on performance issues and data discrepancies.
- Prepare executive-ready insights that summarize risks, trends, and strategic recommendations.
Intake-Process Support & Reporting Governance:
- Support the reporting intake process to ensure requests are captured, categorized, and prioritized effectively.
- Contribute to reporting governance focusing on definitions, naming standards, and version control.
- Establish and maintain role-based security protocols for all reporting assets, ensuring data access compliance and monitoring potential risks.
- Maintain standardized reporting templates and best practices.
Qualifications:
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- An MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or operational analysis.
- Strong skills in Power BI, Power Automate, and Excel; experience with AI analytics is advantageous.
- Preferred relevant certifications in BI or analytics such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar.
- Experience in building dashboards (particularly with Power BI) and automated reporting is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform business inquiries into actionable insights.
- Proficient in process improvement and measurement frameworks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skill set, including the ability to produce executive-ready insights.
Tools:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experienced with Power BI, Power Automate, Tableau, and SQL.
Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with enterprise systems and data analytic tools such as Power BI.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data, identify root causes, and develop actionable solutions using Excel, Power BI, and workflow tools.
- Strategic and Tactical: Ability to marry strategic thinking with hands-on execution, showcasing curiosity and passion for process improvement.

Travel Requirements:
- Up to 10% domestic travel may be required annually.
