Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analytics Manager to lead and own a centralized Power BI reporting and analytics platform that enables data-driven decision-making firm-wide. The ideal candidate will define and execute the analytics vision and roadmap, partner with key internal stakeholders across functions — including REFM, IT Security, HR, Accounting, and EBA — and lead the evolution of analytics from reactive reporting to proactive insight generation. This role will also provide guidance and mentorship to BI Developer resources and drive adoption of self-service analytics across the organization.
The Business Analytics Manager is accountable for ensuring that all BI solutions adhere to best practices in performance, usability, security, and data governance while delivering high-impact reporting solutions that support operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a holistic analytics strategy and Power BI roadmap aligned with organizational priorities.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders (REFM, IT Security, HR, Accounting, EBA, etc.) to understand business needs and deliver tailored reporting and analytics solutions.
- Own the design, development, and governance of Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards with an emphasis on performance, consistency, and data quality.
- Ensure BI deliverables follow best practices for usability, scalability, and security in alignment with enterprise data governance standards.
- Transition analytics capabilities from reactive reporting to proactive insight-led frameworks that support decision-making.
- Act as the BI subject matter expert, providing guidance, coaching, and leadership to BI Developer resources.
- Promote user adoption and empower business partners toward self-service analytics through training, documentation, and engagement.
- Maintain continuity of existing analytics solutions, overseeing ongoing enhancements and maintenance work.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience managing and implementing BI/reporting platforms (Power BI strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead analytics strategy and influence cross-functional partners.
- Strong knowledge of BI best practices, data governance, performance optimization, and security considerations.
- Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, and modern analytics tooling; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or similar analytics ecosystems a plus.
- Experience in driving user adoption and building self-service BI capabilities across teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive, consultative mindset.
- Experience guiding or mentoring BI development resources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy, detail, and measurable outcomes.
