Business/Data Analyst

Serve as a liaison between the business stakeholders and the technical team to gather, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems.

Perform in-depth data analysis, leveraging proficiency in tools like SQL and Databricks, and translate complex business needs into clear technical data requirements.

Understanding of data modernization and scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT).

Understanding of cloud-based data processing platforms, such as Azure Databricks/PySpark, to analyze, curate, and transform large-scale datasets.

Document detailed business requirements, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security).

Create and maintain essential project documentation, including requirements documents, process maps, user stories, use cases, and testing plans.

Analyze and model business processes, recommending improvements and system/process solutions that align with strategic goals.

Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.

Support the QA team in designing test cases and executing user acceptance testing (UAT).

Create and present compelling narratives that translate complex data analysis results into high-impact, executive-level business insights using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Required Skills & Experience (Data Focus)

Proven experience combining Data Analysis and Business Analysis roles to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python/PySpark for data processing and analysis.

Hands-on experience with Databricks (e.g., Notebook development, Delta Lake, Spark SQL).

Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and Data Modernization concepts.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) is preferred.
