Job Description and Responsibilities

• Maintains a competent level of expertise and knowledge of requirements of various rules, regulations governing the banks Cash Equities activities.
• Performs compliance reviews and testing, gather supporting documents, communicate findings, and draft comprehensive reports on the area reviewed and assure corrective actions were taken.
• Reviews, analyzes and communicates regulatory changes.
• Evaluates complaints to identify root causes for potential regulatory compliance risks and possible weaknesses and insufficiencies of Bank policy and procedures.
• Produces reports for senior management regarding status of compliance programs and emerging issues.
• Must have strong SQL experience - Coding/Commands/Searching tables/Extracting Data for compliance reporting purposes
• Knowledge and experience of Cash Equity trading market is a must have
• Good to have Fidessa Expression Evaluator experience
• Good to have Java experience
• Solid analytical skills and strong financial model background
• Ability to communicate and act professionally with IT staff and business clients while under strict deadlines
• Ability to work in a team-oriented setting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
