The gDATA team's mission is to solve the complex needs of gTech strategy and operations by using data science to make Google Ads products more usable for customers. By pioneering advanced solutions in machine learning, forecasting, and generative AI, the team empowers customers, agents, and internal partners. Our approach involves identifying key business challenges, developing innovative models, and collaborating closely with partners to translate complex findings into actionable insights.
As a Business Data Scientist on the gDATA team, you will help solve the complex and evolving needs of gTech Strategy and Operations, transforming it into a data-driven powerhouse. In this fast-moving, collaborative environment, your technical skills will have a direct impact on empowering our customers, support agents, and engineering partners for success in the AI/ML age.
The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Google’s full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google's most complex and important customers and partners.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $117,000‑$166,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
