This position requires working hybrid at either our Webster or Boston office locations. We are not considering Remote candidates for this position.

Responsibilities

•

Develop datasets that serve as sources for various reports and enterprise data marts.

•

Analyze datasets – perform exploratory analysis, data manipulation, or data modeling for deliverables.

•

Leads or facilitates meetings to translate business needs into clearly defined, well-documented, high-quality requirements to support future reporting and visualizations.

•

Provides consultative assistance to cross-functional teams and external departments working with data.

•

Assists in the development of complex ad hoc reporting.

•

Exercises discretion and applies critical thinking relative to analysis, planning, and/or implementation of critical business initiatives.

•

Provides prescriptive recommendations for action as part of reporting based on analysis of requested data.

•

Applies data best practices to ensure the quality and accessibility of assembled datasets

Qualifications

•

Bachelor’s Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience Required

•

4–6 years of related experience or equivalent applied knowledge in analytics, reporting, or data roles.

•

Prior experience within Claims and Insurance environments strongly preferred, including familiarity with claims data, insurance operations, or related business processes.

•

Proficiency in SQL for querying, data analysis, and dataset development.

•

Basic to intermediate Python skills for analytics, automation, or modeling tasks.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Salary Range $96,000 - $135,000
