This role is responsible for consolidating, analysing, and translating data into actionable insights through high‑quality dashboards and analytics to support the Business Management & Transformation team and department leadership.
This role serves as the primary owner of departmental dashboards and performance reporting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability for management decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain department‑level dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear KPIs and visualisations.
- Ensure dashboards are accurate, timely, and aligned with leadership needs.
Data Consolidation & Analysis
- Consolidate data from multiple sources into structured analytical views.
- Perform trend, variance, and performance analysis.
- Identify insights, risks, and opportunities to support management discussions.
Performance & Transformation Support
- Support business management and transformation initiatives through data analysis and tracking.
- Monitor performance against targets and highlight gaps or anomalies.
- Provide data‑driven inputs to strategic and operational reviews.
Data Quality & Standards
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and clarity of definitions across reports.
- Maintain basic documentation for KPIs, dashboards, and data sources.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with team leads and senior stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
- Present insights clearly and concisely when required.
- Act as a subject‑matter resource for BI and analytics within the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3–5 years in a dedicated Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or Analytics role
- Strong hands‑on experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight).
- Good proficiency in SQL; experience with data modelling, DAX, or equivalent analytical expressions is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
- Experience supporting management‑level reporting, performance tracking, or transformation initiatives.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and reporting consistency.
