Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and other BI tools to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Analyse large datasets employing SQL, R, Python, and VBA to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Design and optimise databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and database design principles to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements through business analysis techniques and translate these into technical specifications.
- Manage projects related to system enhancements or new BI solutions following the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology.
- Create detailed documentation including process flows and system architecture diagrams using Visio.
- Support data integration efforts by scripting in Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks.
- Assist in the realisation of project objectives by applying project management best practices.
- Ensure compliance with organisational standards for data security and integrity throughout all activities.
Requirements
- 4–5 years strong hands-on SQL experience (advanced)
- Experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, dashboards)
- Working knowledge of Python (ETL/data prep)
- Experience in stakeholder management/team coordination
- Strong analytical and communication skills
