Role Overview

This position is for a Senior BI Developer to create data visualization solutions that improve business processes. The role involves planning, designing, and developing interactive dashboards with guided analytics for various lines of business. The qualified candidate will support efforts to create next-generation data delivery solutions and must have a background in visual data delivery, interactive design, and SQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up various data connections on BI tools such as Micro Strategy.
• Create dashboards and reports using various BI tools.
• Manage user accounts and server content.
• Conduct training to educate users on various BI tools.
• Design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations.
• Troubleshoot issues, including the ability to query databases using SQL.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical requirements.
• Develop impactful presentations and documents, including written training materials.
• Work independently and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Communicate complex topics to teams through both written and oral communications.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: Experience with Agile methodologies.

Technical

Skills:

Proficient with BI report development, BI visualizations, and writing/modifying/executing SQL queries. Experience with Micro Strategy and MS BI is required.
