Help optimize how millions of packages move through Amazon's transportation network every day. We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer I (BIE I) to join our Network Design, Planning and Engineering (NDPE) team, where you'll use data to drive visibility, automation, and smarter decision-making across outbound operations.
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across various teams, translate business needs into data solutions, and develop tools that enable better visibility, automation, and decision-making. A day in the life
As a Business Intelligence Engineer I, you'll support product, science, and engineering teams by building reports, dashboards, and data pipelines that help monitor and improve the performance of Amazon's outbound transportation network. Your day may include gathering requirements from stakeholders, developing SQL queries, validating data accuracy, and visualizing trends that inform operational decisions. You'll contribute to team goals by digging into data to answer key business questions, identifying anomalies, and sharing insights that support planning and forecasting efforts.

We are a collaborative group of BIEs and data engineers who value curiosity, knowledge sharing, and building reliable, scalable solutions. Our work directly impacts how millions of packages move through Amazon's outbound network every day. We foster a learning-focused environment where team members grow through mentorship, technical reviews, and exposure to complex, large-scale data challenges.
