I’m working on a

Business Intelligence Lead

role with a growing London-based business.

This is a

hands-on BI leadership

role in a small team and would suit a senior analyst with mentor experience looking for a step up, with a roughly

70/30 split between delivery and management

. It would suit someone who enjoys building, leading workstreams and working closely with stakeholders across the business.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BI and reporting delivery

• Manage and develop a small BI team

• Translate business needs into reporting and analytics solutions

• Own BI workstreams from requirements through to deployment

• Build dashboards, reporting and data models

• Help shape the BI roadmap, including future analytics and AI capability

• Work closely with stakeholders across the business

• Improve reporting capability, data quality and user adoption

Background and skills needed

• Experience in a hands-on BI leadership or mentoring role

• Strong Power BI, SQL / T-SQL and Microsoft Fabric experience

• Good background in data warehousing and Star Schema modelling

• Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills

• Experience leading or mentoring analysts / developers

• Comfortable balancing delivery with team and workstream leadership

• Commercial, proactive and able to work at pace

• Python helpful but not essential
