As a Business Intelligence Lead, you will tackle complex business challenges using data from various internal and external sources to provide valuable insights to decision-makers. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, you will engage with a diverse range of problems varying in scope and complexity.

Your role will involve defining the technologies and practices that transform data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with executives to develop strategic functional strategies tailored to specific segments and will navigate complex issues related to your responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of technical data analysis experience, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading projects.
• Advanced expertise in managing large and complex data sets within substantial organizations.
• Proven experience in data analysis to solve business dilemmas and create compelling data visualizations that influence strategic decisions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams to translate requirements across business, project management, and technical areas.
• Deep understanding of healthcare-related data is crucial.
• A commitment to enhancing consumer experiences is essential.
• Experience with Medicare Risk Adjustment (MRA), Health Information Exchange (HIE), and quality healthcare data aggregation is required.
• Availability to work within the Eastern Standard Time zone.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Expertise in SQL, SAS, and other relevant data systems.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and Qlik.
• Specialized skills in data mining, forecasting, simulation, or predictive modeling.
• Experience creating analytical solutions for various sectors of healthcare.

Additional Information

This is a remote position, but occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be necessary.

Compensation Range

The provided compensation range reflects a good faith estimate for full-time employment. Compensation may vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and certifications.

$117,600 - $161,700 per year. This role qualifies for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
