Position Overview

As a Business Analytics Engineer on the Operations Finance team, you will drive data, information, and insights to enable financial planning and performance tracking. This role supports centralized functions across the organization by leveraging your expertise in SQL, Python, and BI tools while collaborating with engineering, operations, and finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production/factory floor modeling expertise to the Operations Finance team.
- Support regular financial reporting and planning activities.
- Coordinate Industrial Engineering (IE) model-related initiatives within the team.
- Assist the Operations CFO and finance team to improve product cost visibility on the production floor.
- Develop dashboards and BI tools for financial analysis and insights.
- Design and implement advanced SQL queries and data structures for reporting.
- Automate data processes using Python and related programming languages.
- Collaborate with finance analysts to address data needs for forecasting and performance tracking.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous quality checks.
- Build tools and workflows for rapid iteration and reliable results.
- Document data platform components to support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Stay current with industry trends and enhance BI systems with innovative improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, computer science, or data analytics.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a BI engineering or analytics role, preferably in finance or aerospace.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, or other BI languages.
- Strong financial acumen with an understanding of Industrial Engineering (IE) models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Databricks, AWS Redshift, and other relevant BI tools.

- Compensation Range (WA Applicants): $96,310.00-$134,833.65
