Business Systems Analyst - Marketing & Sales Technology

Location: Waltham, MA (Hybrid - 1 day onsite per week minimum)

Overview

Our client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support Marketing and Sales Technology initiatives within a growing financial services organization. This role will partner closely with marketing, sales, and technology teams to translate business needs into functional system solutions that improve marketing effectiveness, lead generation, and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate brings experience supporting marketing technology (MarTech) or sales technology (SalesTech) platforms and understands how technology enables B2B marketing and sales operations within a regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Technology teams to gather and document requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and system enhancements.
  • Support and optimize marketing and sales technology platforms used to drive customer engagement and pipeline growth.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
  • Assist with system configuration, testing, and implementation of new features or tools.
  • Document workflows, system processes, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through better use of technology and data.

Qualifications

  • 3-7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting Marketing Technology or Sales Technology platforms (CRM, marketing automation, lead management, etc.).
  • Background working within financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries preferred.
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing or sales organizations.
  • Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical documentation.

Additional Details

  • Hybrid role based in Waltham, MA
  • Must be able to commute onsite at least one day per week
