Hiring: Business Transformation Consultant – Operational Risk Management

📍 Location: Phoenix, AZ

📄 Duration: Long-Term Contract (Right to Hire)

We are looking for an experienced Operational Risk Management professional to join a dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in RCSA, operational risk assessments, and control monitoring, with the ability to identify risks and improve internal control frameworks.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA) for business units

• Manage operational risk issues, events, and control improvements

• Develop and document new risk controls and governance frameworks

• Perform control design reviews, testing, and monitoring

• Support QA programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards

• Identify operational risk trends and provide actionable insights

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance risk management practices

🔹 Required Qualifications

✔ 5–10 years of experience in Operational Risk Management or Internal Audit

✔ Strong understanding of operational risk lifecycle activities

✔ Experience with RCSA / PRSA / Issue Management frameworks

✔ Knowledge of control design, testing, and monitoring

✔ Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills

✔ Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field

✔ Experience in the Financial Services industry

✔ Experience in risk assessments, process governance, and regulatory compliance

✔ Knowledge of operational risk reporting and thematic risk analysis
