🔍 Contract Opportunity: Capital Markets Analyst (BAU & Power BI)

Location: Hybrid – 4 days onsite

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Contract Duration: Until October 2026

Pay Rate: Up to $55/hour (based on experience)

💼 About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Capital Markets Analyst to support a high-performing team within a regulated financial services environment. This is a niche, growth-oriented contract role that blends business-as-usual (BAU) operational support with data analytics and Power BI reporting, offering regular exposure to senior leadership.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy balancing stakeholder interaction with analytical work and are comfortable operating in both spaces. 873

📌 Key Responsibilities

50% BAU & Operational Support

• Follow up with internal stakeholders to obtain required documentation
• Track, maintain, and remediate documentation gaps
• Support audit and remediation activities
• Perform investigative and detail-oriented review work
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance documentation

50% Data Analytics & Reporting

• Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Analyze data and present insights using Excel
• Support automation initiatives to improve BAU processes
• Document business logic, workflows, and reporting methodologies
• Act as a bridge between operations and data analytics

✅ Candidates must be comfortable performing both BAU operational work and analytics/reporting tasks.

✅ Must-Have Skills & Experience

Hard Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• BAU operations and remediation experience
• Strong documentation, report writing, and investigative skills
• Audit experience
• Power BI and data analytics experience
• Solid understanding of Capital Markets / Securities
• Brokerage or capital markets environment experience

Soft Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Confident following up with internal stakeholders
• Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
