Capital Markets Analyst, Global Hedge Fund

Our client is a leading Global Multi Strategy Hedge Fund.

Their Capital Markets team seeks an experienced analyst to support an existing PM. The analyst will contribute across the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) deal cycle, from diligence and valuation to client interaction and idea generation, with an emphasis on timely, precise communication to global trading and structuring teams.

Key responsibilities

Perform comprehensive fundamental due diligence and valuation analyses for primary, secondary, and other capital market offerings.

Represent the firm in engagements with corporate management teams and sell-side syndicate desks.

Identify and develop opportunities in new capital markets domains.

Maintain active dialogue with sell-side sales and research contacts to surface and evaluate opportunities.

Communicate valuation movements and investment theses to global trading desks with clarity and speed.

Develop and assess trade ideas anchored in fundamental catalysts or valuation-centric insights.

Candidate profile

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in securities analysis (Ideally ECM IBD)
• Solid finance fundamentals: accounting, financial statement analysis, and financial modeling.
• Investment Banking, Equity Research, Buy Side, or equivalent), with substantial capital markets transaction exposure will also be considered
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) or advanced study in a quantitative discipline preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly collaborative mindset.
