Overview
At PNC, we are a Capital Markets Senior Associate – Portfolio Management within our Corporate Banking organization. The role may be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Philadelphia, PA or Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates seamless execution, ongoing administration, and internal reporting within the business. Oversees portfolios and/or customer requests of low to medium complexity in order to identify and mitigate risk.
- Generates portfolio and asset‑level, as well as business‑level financial and regulatory reports. Performs or coordinates field exams, reviews findings, reconciles results with clients, Credit and Sales teams, and ensures adherence to established field‑exam plans and procedures.
- Executes ongoing deal administration and surveillance plans: reviews and approves borrowing requests, sets up and monitors covenant reporting, evaluates servicer reports, field exams, and other information. Assesses market and economic data to determine impacts, reviews and interprets loan documents and servicing agreements, escalates issues, and manages credit risk and compliance documentation.
- Engages in frequent verbal and written communication with internal and external parties, including client/deal coverage teams, Commercial Lending and Leasing Operations, Finance, Accounting, Credit, customers and their representatives, outside counsel, agencies, other banks or field‑exam firms.
- Manages compliance with documented policies and procedures surrounding the business. Performs controls intended to mitigate risk and facilitate testing of those controls and other processes by internal risk partners and external auditors / regulators.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience. A university/college degree is preferred; in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certifications and experience (including military service) may be considered.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking; collateral management; data gathering and reporting; decision making and critical thinking; effective communications; flexibility and adaptability; investment reporting; portfolio management; problem solving; regulatory environment – financial services.
- Collateralized lending experience.
- No certifications or licenses required.
- Bachelor’s degree.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $158,700.00 based on location, market data, skills, experience and education. This role is incentive eligible.
