Experteer Overview
In this role you will contribute to capital modelling and risk analytics for a global insurance group. You’ll work within the Capital Modelling and Risk Analytics Team, supporting model updates, validation, and governance across multiple regions. You will translate model outputs for stakeholders and assist with capital allocation, volatility analyses, and regulatory filings. The role offers growth toward actuarial qualification and broader exposure to risk and finance partners. You join a collaborative, in-office culture with a strong emphasis on delivering robust capital solutions.

- Parameterise, update, test, and review capital models and outputs
- Investigate methodologies and develop new approaches to meet business needs
- Communicate model outputs and changes to stakeholders and governance bodies
- Support actuaries and finance in using the capital model for volatility analysis, capital allocation, and reinsurance effectiveness
- Improve processes for greater efficiency and coordinate model updates with SMEs
- Ensure logs, reports, and documentation are maintained for internal and external review
- Coordinate audits and validation work and maintain quality assurance on model changes
Tasks
- Degree in Mathematics or Statistics, or progress toward actuarial qualification
- Willingness to pursue actuarial fellowship with a recognised society
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Coding experience in Python, R or other programming languages
