About NextStep
NextStep connects top consulting talent with high-potential opportunities through smart, AI-powered matching. We partner with ambitious companies across sectors to place experienced professionals in roles where they can have a real impact. On behalf of a client in our partner network, we are looking for a Channel Strategy Manager.
About the Company
Our client is one of the largest media companies in Europe, with a portfolio spanning digital content platforms, broadcast channels, and live events. They operate across more than 15 markets, generate significant revenue through a mix of advertising, subscription, and partnership models, and are in the middle of a meaningful strategic shift toward digital-first distribution. The commercial strategy function is at the centre of that shift, and this role sits within it.
THE ROLE
As Channel Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the strategic frameworks that guide how the company allocates investment and effort across its distribution channels. You will analyse performance, identify opportunities, and translate findings into clear recommendations that influence how the business prioritises its commercial activity. This is a role that requires both analytical depth and the ability to communicate with conviction to senior commercial and product leadership.
