Role Overview
This role focuses on designing and implementing electrical and automation solutions for industrial equipment. The engineer will be responsible for PLC programming, motion control, and system integration, ensuring machines operate efficiently and reliably from design through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems and select appropriate components
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems
- Assemble, test, and debug electromechanical systems
- Design electrical schematics and control cabinet drawings
- Support system installation, commissioning, and documentation
- Perform network communication debugging (e.g. industrial protocols)
- Liaise with suppliers on technical specifications and solutions
Ideal Requirement
- Bachelor's degree or above in Control, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical design.
- Proficient in using design tools.
- Strong knowledge of servo control, stepper motor control, and familiarity with robotic motion control.
- Proficient in PLC programming and hardware, with independent development and design capabilities. Familiar with motor, sensor, and other automation component selection and application.
- Willingness to travel internationally for training.
