About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Investment Management Officer (CIMO) with a Vice President level of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative crypto trading, XLT strategies, and DeFi markets, and be prepared to lead the scaling of the firm. Responsibilities for this remote-based role include defining and executing trading frameworks for XLT-based DeFi investment strategies, with a focus on driving alpha through algorithmic design, risk optimization, and automation. The CIMO will be expected to blend Wall Street precision with Web3 speed, and must have a proven track record of managing large portfolios, particularly in the crypto, DeFi, or alternative markets.

Applicants for the CIMO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in quantitative trading or portfolio leadership, with a mandatory requirement of having managed portfolios exceeding $20B. Mastery in algorithmic trading, XLT, on-chain data analysis, SMA, AI, and Web3 is essential. The role also demands a strategic vision with hands-on technical fluency, and a history of successfully hiring and retaining top talent in the field. While not mandatory, knowledge of wealth management territories in Canada, Dubai, and Australia is considered a bonus. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of leading the future of DeFi and XLT framework investment performance, and will be part of a dynamic, fast-growing digital asset firm.
