About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Chief Lending & Investment Executive to spearhead our lending strategies and manage a diverse loan portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will set and achieve annual lending objectives, oversee the entire loan lifecycle, and create innovative lending products that align with our mission. You'll work closely with our executive team as a strategic leader, engaging in high-level decision-making while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and risk management protocols.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a minimum of 10 years of senior management experience in community development finance, investment management, banking, or financial services, backed by a robust understanding of nonprofit lending and community investment. Experience with Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), a proven track record in capital raising, and excellent relationship management skills are essential. Your ability to represent our organization at industry events and advocate for rural and Indigenous community development is key. We value mentorship and coaching experience, and a degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is advantageous. Proficiency in relevant software and technology is expected.
