Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
Portfolio and Account Management
Engage in all stages of the client lifecycle, including onboarding, portfolio construction, portfolio monitoring and reporting, client communication, client file administration etc., and relationship termination.
Manage Advisory, Execution Only, and Discretionary (when appropriate) portfolios
Responsible for supervising all trades and instructions (Type 1 or Type 9) related to covered portfolios, also ensuring their proper execution
Implement investment strategies based on client’s risk profile, portfolio mandate and investment guidelines decided by the Investment Committee and the CIO
Continuously monitor and manage asset allocation of client portfolio, and monitor any potential breach
Responsible for knowing what actions/transactions have occurred in the portfolio and coordinate accordingly with the research team and with the Relationship Manager
Actively communicate with the client and Senior Relationship Manager as to portfolio positions and actions made
Participate in, or lead, client meetings/calls to present portfolio status and market environment, including asset allocation and investment ideas
Prepare call/meeting memo with client for management and administration of clients’ accounts
Contribution to regular performance and suitability monitoring
Contribute to the comprehensive team effort to manage the various CIGP in-house accounts
Collaborate actively with internal stakeholders, including all members of the Wealth Management, RWG, Compliance, Trading & Operations, Accounting & Finance, to precisely identify and address client needs in a comprehensive and efficient manner.
Client queries
Monitor client related queries, including investment related and administrative matters, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to high-net-worth clients.
Coordinate with the client, the Relationship Manager as well as our Operations and Compliance teams to process client instructions / payments

Prepare call/meeting memo with client for management and administration of clients’ accounts
Preferred 2 to 3 years of experience as a portfolio manager working for a Wealth Manager/Family Office or an “investment specialist” within a private bank or External Asset Manager
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Applied Sciences would be an advantage
Strong client-focused attitude and capable of working under pressure
Excellent presentation skills
IT-proficient, including knowledge of relevant software packages, on-line information systems, front-end management and order-placing systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Bloomberg, etc.)
Proven team player but also able to work on one’s own
Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French and/or Russian will be an added advantage
