CLIENT DIRECTOR – ENTERPRISE BRAND PARTNERSHIPS (German-speaking) Berlin, Germany · Hybrid · Full-time

ABOUT US

At The Global Talent Co., we connect exceptional commercial talent with high-growth European businesses — offering competitive packages, stable employment, and access to a global community of 25,000+ professionals.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Since 2014, this Berlin-headquartered company has quietly become Europe's leading partner for premium custom signage — trusted by some of the most recognised names in retail, luxury, automotive, hospitality, and tech. Their client list reads like a who's who of European brand marketing.

They don't need to prove the product works. Brands already love it. What they're building now is the commercial function to match.

THE ROLE

This role is built for someone who has spent years sitting on the agency or media side of the table — someone who has managed senior brand relationships, understood client budgets and brand strategies from the inside, and knows exactly how major companies make commercial decisions.

You're not coming in to manage an existing book. You're coming in to open doors — using the fluency, the network, and the instincts you've built working with or alongside major brands. Once you bring a client in, an expert internal team handles all delivery. Your focus stays on pipeline and partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and win new enterprise brand partnerships — from first conversation through to signed deal
  • Build and own relationships at CMO, Head of Brand, and senior marketing level across Europe
  • Leverage your agency or media background to speak the language of brand clients and navigate their internal structures
  • Act as the strategic bridge between client needs and internal experts — briefing sharply from day one
  • Identify growth and upsell opportunities within existing accounts over time
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events with intent — chosen selectively, worked strategically

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Background in a commercial role at a marketing, creative, or media agency — account director, business development, group account, partnerships, or similar
  • Alternatively: brand partnerships, advertising sales, or commercial development at a media company or publisher
  • A track record of managing or winning high-value client relationships at senior level
  • Comfortable in conversations with CMOs, Heads of Brand, and senior procurement — you know how these conversations go
  • A natural opener — you understand how to get in front of the right people and make the relationship feel earned, not cold
  • Commercially structured: you understand how to navigate complex deals, manage a pipeline, and keep things moving
  • Native-level German essential; professional English required

WHAT'S ON OFFER

  • Base salary up to €90,000 depending on experience
  • Genuine autonomy — your desk, your relationships, your outcomes
  • Berlin-based hybrid role with a founder-led team that has been building since 2014
  • The chance to represent a product that major European brands genuinely love — with zero delivery responsibility once you close
