Reporting to the Client Partner, as an Account Director at Jellyfish, you will guide client success, ensuring profitability, and encouraging a high-performance team culture. You will be a strategic advisor to clients, aligning Jellyfish's solutions with their goals while identifying opportunities for growth and progress. Additionally, you will mentor and support Senior Account Managers and Account Managers while also identifying opportunities and challenges with the VP or Client Partner ensuring operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

Reporting to the VP, Client Management, as Client Partner you are responsible for client satisfaction, partnering and driving profitable growth opportunities. We are looking for someone with expertise in client management that deeply understands our client's business to lead a cross functional team to deliver the best content and anticipates challenges to develop solutions for the client.

You will deliver proactive growth opportunities in collaboration with cross functional teams and ensure the operational daily runs brilliantly, leading the higher level views.

Your Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee 2 of our key, cross-capability, international accounts within Jellyfish in the (B2B technology and fashion retail)
  • Build and oversee growth plans for clients, and working to achieve set targets throughout the year
  • Guide progress by representing Jellyfish in marketing efforts and staying ahead of industry trends: build an external voice
  • Lead pitches in partnership with the Growth team, building commercials, teams while driving the narrative, deliverables and timelines.
  • Provide strategic support to Account Directors and Client Management teams to ensure collaboration and consistency
  • Lead teams in nurturing client relationships: ensure the best Client Management partnerships at every level is happening
  • Provide strategic oversight in expressing client goals and lead Jellyfish solutions/responses with capability teams to deliver the best content
  • Lead proactive solutions and opportunities based on business needs in collaboration with capabilities leads including paid media, creative, analytics and technology
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), client relationship surveys, conference notes in main meetings and recommend strategic actions.
  • Monitor commercial aspects of client relationships, driving operational improvements and efficiency
  • Lead complex client renewals, ensuring long-term success and profitability
  • Responsible for accurate client forecast submissions and account financial operations with the internal finance team
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting professional growth and expertise and ensuring that Client Management Basics are being delivered at every level, and deliver the team's goals quarterly performance reviews.
  • Identify and address resource and skillset gaps to ensure the team functions
  • Deliver thought leadership and industry insights through external partnerships (e.g., Google, Facebook, Salesforce, and Amazon)
  • Support Marketing efforts by developing client-endorsed case studies and partner PR plans

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the digital marketing industry and experience in sourcing and closing new business opportunities.
  • Performance media expertise across all digital channels
  • Multi-market client management experience
  • Experience creating staffing plans, defining SLAs, managing scope and knowing how to improve profitability
  • Ability to turn hand to scope of sectors and Capabilities, with experience working cross-market or running a large Enterprise account
  • Experience participating in new business and building pitch narratives.
  • Experience using platforms like Google Analytics to analyse performance data, create insights, and guide decision-making that optimizes client outcomes and maximizes ROI
  • Experience contributing to a collaborative, high-performing work environment by leading teams, promoting communication, and ensuring the delivery of complex projects.
  • Experience managing client data in Salesforce or similar systems, ensuring accuracy and

  • Ability to lean into new service offerings across AI/ GEO/ Agentic commerce and find opportunities to enhance client businesses with these tools and services
